Everyone Has A Dream, Somewhere

Everybody has dreams and aspirations they want to do. Some of these dreams are small, while others are enormous. But, regardless of how big they are, everyone should have the chance to accomplish them.

You must start somewhere. Some begin with a laptop that happens to have a LED backlight. A laptop can be useful for just about any dream you can possibly have–writing, filming, recording, photography, web design–anything.

Others only have an Alvarez acoustic guitar. Mainly those aspiring to be musicians, songwriters, or singers. But most importantly, everyone starts with a goal in mind. All over the world, there are elderly folks who sigh away their lives because they were never able to accomplish their dreams when they were young. You don’t want to be like that! So, start now, when you’re young and have a whole life ahead of you. Here are some helpful hints to help you get start accomplishing your dreams:

Education. Some dreams need education before you can accomplish them; paleontology, or physics, for example; if you want to be a scientist in those areas, you need education. Sometimes, even some education in creative writing, acting, or computer science is even helpful. With the many colleges, scholarships, grants, and classes, education is more available than ever. If you have the chance for a better education that will help further your dream, you should go for it.

Determination. A lot of people start on the road to their dreams and then when times are too hard or its too lonely, they just say ‘forget it’ and give up. You can’t do that! You have to be determined, not giving up ever. Who cares about all the work, all the strain, all the stress, when you finally reach your goal, all that will be worth it. Never give up, no matter how hard it gets. When you’re finally living the life you’ve longed for, you’ll be thankful you didn’t give up.

Support. Although sometimes if you have a certain dream, people won’t support you and may even reject you, everyone always has a few friends that stay by their side. And the support they give is always encouraging. They are the ones who help you feel strong when you feel weak, get up after you fall down, and to work hard and not give up. Friends are very important, don’t let them go easily.

And yet, even though you may have all these things, some dreams are still almost impossible–or, that’s what some will tell you. You’ll have to ignore insults, status quo, everything, and sometimes, everyone that tries to stop you and make you quit. Just keep your eyes on your goal, move forward, never backward, and get there. Even if all you’ve got to start with are a handful of scrapbook pages, if you try hard enough, never giving up, you’ll get there. All you need is some effort, time, sometimes money, and you’ll be able to accomplish just about every dream you think of, getting the life you only dreamed about.

Online Incomes Are Proving Viable And Reliable

There is some good news rumbling around regarding online incomes. It turns out that the bounce back of internet based incomes has become more reliable than the bounce back incomes of brick and mortar institutions. With a few basic strategies and some valuable information, you can learn how to build yourself a reliable income from home in under a year.

If you are looking to leave the rat race behind or you are hoping that retiring will come with more than your retirement plan provides, your time has come. With the economic stability of internet based incomes increasing on a regular basis you should be wary of closing the door on the opportunity that is knocking hard and loud. Make money blogging. Make money in niche marketing. Make money in product retail. Make money any way you want but don’t miss the train.

Simple items such as ATV accessories, water sport equipment, and pet supplies are markets that are easy to tap into and market. This is because these are the things that people need on a regular basis and are willing to seek out online. It’s called niche marketing.

In order to figure out your marketing plan you want to know how much you’ll need to be bringing in on a regular basis in order to change your place of industry. Whatever you feel you can live on, you actually want to double that figure in order to call it a viable income.

If you double your income needs you will have ample to live on without another income source. You also have to remember that you will now be responsible for all of your own taxes. You will also need to pay for the normal business expenses and most likely pay for some outsourcing. A doubled figure allows for all of this comfortably.

Lay out your marketing plan month by month. This will allow you to keep tight tabs on your progress and make adjustments as you need. By the end of one month, six months, and twelve months you should know your target before you ever start trying to swing for it.

These strategies will help get you to your goals faster than you thought possible. Within the first twelve months, most people have the power to bring their work home and leave behind the nine to nine experience that has readily replaced the nine to five workplace requirements.

Taking Financial Planning to the Next Level

A lesson on goal setting and financial planning.

Successful financial planning is not about choosing the right pension, or selecting the right savings plan, it is about having the right mentality, and being able to follow a proven strategy from start to finish.

First you need to look at  goal setting. I would say that goal setting is about 25% of the financial planning process, and without doing this, the process will not work at all. Imagine a car with 25% of its engine missing. It probably won’t work, and this goes for financial planning too.

Goal setting is an important subject, and cannot be covered in full on this blog, but more details can be found on my financial planning website. There are also specialist books written on the subject of goal setting which are well worth a read.

The basics to goal setting are as follows:

You should set a goal for your benefit only. Not for the benefit of others, although there is nothing wrong if your goal benefits others indirectly.

You should make your goal positive in nature.

Your goal should be specific. You need to be able to see every small detail when you visualise your goal. The vaguer you make it the less likely you are to achieve it.

If you can picture your goal there is more chance of it becoming real.

An example of a good goal could be:

“I wish to retire on my 55th birthday. I want to have enough money to live a fulfilled life which includes playing golf on a weekly basis at the manor executive club. I will play regularly so I can beat all of my golf buddies.  I want to afford to have meals out with rosemary (my wife) at nice restaurants. We would enjoy good quality meals such as roast beef and Yorkshire puddings, and steak in red wine sauce. I would also like to take 4 holidays per year. I would like to take three foreign holidays, and explore new and exotic places. I would like to be able to lie on the beach, seeing clear blue sea and white sands.  I want to enjoy a long and fruitful retirement, and the earlier I retire the more I can see and do.

An example of a bad goal could be:

I want to retire early with a good pension. This is because I don’t like working. But I cant stop working if I don’t have enough money because I will be poor and unable to live a good life. I don’t want to be too poor to do anything, and I don’t want to retire when I am too old to do good things.

The first goal is specific, positive, for your benefit, and easy to visualise. The second goal is non specific, negative, and very difficult to visualise.

You should try and visualise your goals for 30 minutes per day. You should try and have between 20 and 30 specific goals at any one time. You should not restrict your goals to what you can easily achieve, but instead have goals which you dream of, and are out of reach because setting your sights too low guarantee you will under achevie.
